Félix Ramírez Mendez, Yogana, Oaxaca 1121FRM, 47.9%, 510 bottles, November, 2021
While it may taste quite similar to previous releases of Ramírez espadín, this batch is notable for being the first release on which Félix’s son Jonny helped from harvest to final composition.
Fans of Felix’s destilados are drawn to the intensity and brightness of the 1 x distilled spirits from the Ejutla District of Oaxaca, where he lives and works, and enjoy the unique personality of the batches made by a mezcalero who produces just a few times per year.
