The "tobalá" is one of the most cherished and highly valued varieties of agave used for the production of mezcal. In the region of Sola de Vega, we can find different native species that the townspeople know as Tobala, these are Agave Potatorum, Agave Seemaniana, and Agave Nussaviurum.
